While I was still on a plane back to London from LA our good friend Fracture covered this weeks radio show, and it must say, it was a blinder! Big thanks to Charlie for covering and as always smashing it with the selections. We’re back in just under two weeks time with guest Sinistarr and more guests TBA..
Had three great guests take over the show a couple weeks ago while I was of town in the USA. First up is Arizona’s Dane Chadwick who has been making lots of great music and releases on the awesome Astronautico label. After that we have a mix from Calculon out of San Diego, making waves in the fast/slow uptempo side of things. Finally closing out is a more 4/4 mix from The Melt’s Moiety who is also based in LA. Lots of variety and great music, we hope you enjoy.
This week we were joined by two mysterious producers that go by the name of Trampoline Tax & Dj Dj Booth. Full of exclusives and even a bit of Mick Hucknall, what more could you ask for on a Friday evening?
Couple weeks ago we have a very special show with Stray, Halogenix and Steve Nalepa. Definitely one for the books!
Wow, it was a pretty mad show last week! We were joined by most of the Fly High Society: Bolts, Sertone, Hlmnsra, Tehbis, Iglooghost and also They Call Me Raptor on the mic! There was a nice mix of exclusive new music in both live and Dj sets. Thanks to all the guys for making the effort to come down and join us in Dalston at the studio.
Our next show is 6th of August and we are joined by Ivy Lab (Sabre, Stray, Halogenix) and Nalepa of The Acid / Team Supreme (LA)!
Last week was out final week on the roofpark and it was a windy affair! Lots of new and exclusive on the show though, so read on to hear and check the tracklist.
Next week we are back in the studio and should be joined by Fly High Society. We also have Ivy Lab + more coming up in the coming weeks, before another live show from LA. Stay tuned to Twitter & Facebook for more info…
Last week we were broadcasting live from the Dalston Roof Park, and They Call Me Raptor came by to host and also grace the mic with some live tracks!
This week is our last week on the roof alongside Kutmah, 92 Points and special guests Karizma & Funkineven.. so come down, enjoy a drink, the football and some music of course.
Astral Black representatives DJ Milktray, Jon Phonics & Jaisu kick off a string of shows throughout July with their new residency at Glasgow’s prestigious Art School on July 4th. Hot on the heels of his ’Minger’ single for Numbers, London’s post-grime poster-boy Darq E Freaker will be joining the crew on the night to help set the party off right. To celebrate, DJ Milktray & Jon Phonics have teamed up under their newly formed ‘Milkmakerz’ guise to deliver this panty droppin’ warm up mix.
London heads can catch the team the following evening, July 5th, at their residency at Dalston’s The Alibi. Edinburgh play host to the trio on July 9th @ Sneaky Pete’s and for those of you at this years Soundwave Festival - be sure to catch the labels boat party with special guests Om-Unit & The Purist.
It was a pleasure this week to welcome My Dry Wet Mess, playing live in the studio and coming all the way from Berlin, as well as Hannah Faith, representing Soulection. Both sets were absolutely fantastic and we hope you enjoy them!
Starting next week the NTS Wednesday shows move to the Dalston Roof Park, so expect a few slightly random shows and guests, live from the roof. This will be potentially weekly for the next month, just keep an eye on our Twitter for all the info. We’ll keep you posted when we are back in the studio with a more standard show style.
Kromestar back again, yet more unreleased tracks spanning hip-hop and jungle to house!
Our next show is Wednesday June 11th 3-5pm and we are joined by Hannah Faith.
