Thanks to all who locked in for this weeks show, apologies for it being slightly under 2hrs, we had a few technical difficulties pop up a couple of times. Anyway at least we got it all recorded ok this week (apologies to Yucca last week, studio issues but all will be good for next time). Massive thanks to our guests Hourglass Sea and My Panda Shall Fly - both bringing massive vibes to the studio. Looking forward to hearing much more from them in 2012. In two weeks time we are back with Manni Dee, expect that to be a huge show! No doubt Deft and Naive Machine will also be in, you might get a few from those guys as well if you’re lucky..

Boy, it’s been a busy start to the year! Trying not to lag too much here is the slightly delayed posting of Ghost Mutt’s latest release on Donky Pitch! I’ve been spinning this for the past few weeks and it has become a staple in my sets, bringing upbeat rhythms right alongside R&B style vibes. As essential cop! Grab it and if you can spare some change then wing it his way in the pay what you like, 2012 is going to be a big one for these lads..

Digging through the emails today I came across this gem from Benny Loco. This EP has been the culmination of his work in 2011 as follow up to his first LP, Just Some Beats, Vol. 1. It features some wicked beats and electronic tones and I enjoyed every track, it’s also exciting to hear he will also be working on upcoming remixes for the likes of Charles Trees and DJAO. Happy New Year to all, this is definitely a good start!
