Having witnessed Arsenal getting wooped, I came home from the pub tonight and was trying to distract myself from my depression, when I came across a post from the guys over at Bass Music. The post was about an EP from Eleven Tigers (who previously released on Wigflex), which you can either pay for, or you can download for free in exchange for your email address.
I went for the free option, but as I was downloading I began to stream the music, and immediately felt a sense of guilt as the music playing was some of the most fantastically produced 2-step garage/dubstep I had heard in a long time. No, scrap that…. It’s the most fantastically produced garage I have ever heard. Now, back in the day I wasn’t a garage-head so I might be wrong, but to my ears this is super-dope.
Each track is 6+ minutes long, and never runs out of ideas; always morphing and switching up. Production-wise, everything hits in the right place, and there’s just so much space. Proper heavy shit!
I know this is a free download blog, but check it out and if you think it deserves a donation, do it! This is clearly a producer on top of his game making some great music, who genuinely deserves to be supported in his endeavours. Big up Eleven Tigers!
