It was a loss to Drum & Bass when original badman Zinc got bored of 172 bpm breaks. But D&B’s loss turned out to be 4x4’s gain. Now I’ve never been a real fan of house, but having checked out Zinc’s own brand of ‘crack house’, I quite like it. It’s basically fidget house, but with his junglist influences clear for all to see, and featuring a bunch of guest vocalists from the UK scene, like JME and Ms Dynamite.
