You’ll Soon Know Radio Show
We have a radio show! NTS is a cracking new independent radio station based in Hackney, London and we will be broadcasting bi-weekly on a Monday night (Tuesday morning) 1-3am GMT which should be around 5-7pm for you West Coast folk.
Tim will be hosting the show and we will aim to have guests featuring on a regular basis. We want to showcase your music from around the globe and aim to cover the sort of music we promote on the site. So if you have music to share on the site let us know, if you also have music you would like us to spin on radio please also get in touch - youllsoonknow@gmail.com or @youllsoonknow! Our first show is next Monday the 11th of April so get involved. You can also check the schedule as there will be plenty of other dope shows to wrap your ears around. Look out for their full site coming soon.
Ideas, music, feedback, guest mixes are all welcome so please get in touch if you would like to get involved - we are looking for content for the first show until the end of the week. We will also hopefully be adding a few more hosts and features to the schedule when we have a chance to catch up with the whole YSK / Streets of Beige / Family tree.
We are also looking for supporters to help sponsor or advertise on the site if possible. We post free music and in no way aim to make money from what we post, that would just be wrong. YSK is 100% non profit, we would just like to try to help cover some of the website and broadcasting costs. If we we’re so lucky to receive any sponsorship which took us over this threshold we would put this back into featured artists on the website. If you can help, please let us know.

This is as much a we should have known as it is a You Should Know. I stumbled across this amazing beat tape yesterday after Naive Machine was mentioned in a tweet to us. This beat tape is a nice slice of glithcy 8-bit synths and bouncing beats. The stand out tracks for me are ‘Retro Return’ and ‘Busting the Ghosts…’ a funky reworking of the Ghostbusters theme, definitely a few tracks to play out here! He also has a new EP set for release soon on Hit and Hope Records and the first single off that is also a free download! Another bangin’ track, can’t wait to hear the full EP when it drops.

Thanks to my lazy (or possibly broken computered?) co-blogger Richard, things are backing up here at YSK, this is the first of three dope downloads waiting to go up before the end of the week. So much good music dropped this week so we will try not to lag too much in getting them to you. Anyway you should already know about P.U.D.G.E, the LA hombre has had releases on All City and lots of exciting beats, including his last release alongside Dibiase.
Weird Dishes, if you didn’t guess, is a tribute to Radiohead. It’s dope, checkit.
