The Fader put up this Young Montana? remix taken from the recently released Groundislava self titled album. We were lucky enough to be sent a promo of the album a few months back and it’s gotten many listens and a few plays out from Tim too. It’s a must purchase if you haven’t already gotten it, go out and grab it, you wont be disappointed. Also there is a release date set for Young Montana?’s debut album Limerence, look forward to getting hold of that on the 3rd of May.

More free Young Montana? this time he’s remixing Beat Connection - Silver Screen. There seems to be a constant stream of dope free music coming from the man from Coventry and we’re still waiting for the day Alpha Pup hook us up with that promo copy (wink, wink! ha). Me and Tim are heading down to Street of Beige this Saturday to see him play live along side Leatherette, Blank and Kytt and S.Maharba… gonna be a big night, if you’re in the area pop by as it’s also free! Seriously cannot believe they are giving this track away FOR FREE! I’ve had the Nosaj Thing - Drift Remixes EP released on Alpha Pup (again strength to strength and all that jazz) for a around a week now and it’s a more than solid release. However, Take’s remix of Light #1 was by far the most stand out track in my opinion and I’ve been giving it mad plays this past week, takes the original (which was also dope) to a whole new level of dopeness! Anyway LA Weekly are giving it away for free and if you don’t download it you are an idiot or you already have the release. Speaking of which, if you don’t you should go out and drop the pennies on the rest of the EP once you’ve had this track on repeat a fair few times while dancing around your room like a mad man! …but yeah to summarise I really like this song!

Kraddy - No Comply

Former Glitch Mob member Kraddy is set to release his new EP, Labyrinth, tomorrow on Alpha Pup Records. We were lucky enough to be sent a promo copy of it earlier today and it’s fire! Taking that Kraddy sound that you’ll no doubt already be familiar with to whole new levels across the EP, which is loosely based on the story of a hero’s quest to face down fear and stand up to monsters within the Labyrinth, not the 80’s movie! Anyway, they are allowing us to give you No Comply off the EP for free. It’s probably my favourite track of the EP combining the usual glitchy synths and heavy bass and drums that we’ve grown to love from Kraddy’s previous output.

Alpha pup seems to be going from strength to strength with it’s out put over the past few months, we can’t wait to hear what the label has in store for us next. In the mean time grab this EP when it’s out tomorrow, if you’re a vinyl head you gotta be quick as there are only 50 limited edition copies available! Itunes link to the album here for anyone that prefers buying their music that way.
