Strand - Dub!
Spanish producer Strand moved to Brussels three years ago. After his collaboration with Non Genetic in 2008 (‘Madrid 2 Los Angeles’, on Project Mooncircle 2008 with remixes from Hudson Mohawke and others), Strand teams up with the likes of Laid Back Radio and artist Olivier Binamé for a very special release.

Going in with some dubstep weight for today, I’ve decided! Dj Madd is one of my favorite producers right now, he’s making some hard hard bangers but also some seriously nice deepness. I just can’t get enough of ‘Battle’ since first hearing Youngsta pounding it on Rinse. Anyway keep an eye out for him playing at Fabric soon, well worth a listen, enjoy.

Wish I had the time to post this up yesterday when I saw it, but busyness took over. Still, I got a chance to listen through the whole thing and this is one seriously fresh download! Tracks from the likes of Quadron, Shafiq Husayn, Bilal, Quantic, Dimlite and many other international acts. Definitely looking forward to more from these fellas, this it’s a must have!

Martyn and Kode 9 are both big in my book for being two of the most unique and diverse producers out there. Today LA times posted up a great interview with Kode 9 which features this free remix track by Martyn and is well worth a read. The track is on quite a funky house sort of vibe but has a nice swing to it for sure. Watch out for Dj Kicks by Kode 9 coming soon, enjoy!
