Geesus Host is the electronic music moniker of UK Hip-Hop producer Ghost (if you don’t know the name check out the back catalogue for some top quality hip-hop). Here we have him remixing tracks from Wiley’s newest album ‘100% Publishing’.
I’ve been a fan of Wiley for a number of years so when i had the acapellas for his 100% Publishing album i picked my favourite 5 tracks and remixed them. I really wanted see what he’d sound like over a different set of soundscapes.
Geesus Host has a really refreshing take on the original tracks. I’m particularly feeling the 100% Publishing remix, the beat is dope and fits amazingly with the vocals, need to hear this one out.

Ghostpoet’s Peanut Butter Blues and Melancholy Jam has been out for quite a while now and seems to have picked up some major hype, deservedly so. It even go to the point where a clip of the original of this song was played while I was watching catch up on virgin media!
Anyway, the original is probably my favourite song off the album, loving the catchy hook and the bouncy bass line. I personally think Kano’s verse kind of takes away from the flow of the track but it still a rather nice bit of something different if you’ve rinsed the original!

Wiley went off on one again on his twitter last week, this time giving away his new tune ‘Paper’, which is produced by Nightwatch as his label apparently didn’t know what to do with it. Nightwatch is in fact the alias for the awesome trio more commonly known as Noisia, when they are producing for other people, they are also signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label.
The beat is fire and Wiley also gave that away and wants rappers to make their own versions of the song according to RWD Mag.

I was a fan of Virus Syndicate’s album Sick Pay so when this track came through e-mail this morning I had to check it. We don’t post much grime up on here but everynow and then something nice pops up for free that we have to let you know about! Also it’s nice to hear grime in a northern accent and the beat by Heavyfeet on this is pretty sick too!
This release is by new label Stamp! Beats who each are going to be putting out new music each month, one free original track in different styles all with different vocalists. They will also release two remixes to go with each track, one by Heavyfeet and one by a guest remixer that you’ll have to pay for if you’re feeling it!
