Echodub Loves Vol.1
Echodub just released this compilation (the first in a series) of artists they love and contacted to contribute to this showcase of deeper dubstep and electronic music (tracklist).
Echodub have also put out some really nice releases over the past few months and if you missed it before you should definately check out Anechoic Chamber (tracklist) which they also put out for free and features some really nice dubstep and IDM!
Signal Path - Clash
Signal Path are giving away their new album for free. It’s on a similar vibe to The Glitch Mob and is a must for anyone who is a fan of them! Head over to their site for the download where you can also preview the tracks before you commit to downloading if you’re that way inclined.

I’ve been a big fan of Mux Mool for a while now so this track came as a nice surprise. Dope beats and awesome sounds in this one courtesy of XLR8R.
Brooklyn’s Mux Mool makes some truly idiosyncratic music, layering synth sounds that belong in off-kilter Italo tracks with beats that come straight from hip-hop. On “Ballad of Gloria Featherbottom,” cosmic arpeggiations are placed atop weird harpsichord-like synths to truly epic effect, and the percussion seems culled from drum-line samples augmented by deep kicks. Set course for the moon with this one, which is out now on the third of Moodgadget’s Suite series, Nocturnal Suite.

I first heard Memory9 whilst he supported Glitch Mob last year in London. Since then I managed to see him a few weeks ago supporting Daedelus and Harmonic 313 and was still really feeling his music! I brought the Terpsichore EP back when it first came out but he is now putting up two tracks from it for free! Enjoy this early xmas present, I’m pretty sure you’ll be feelin the music too.

We have friends all over the world. Oliver is one of them. When he comes to Glasgow we pack out the club for him, turn out the lights and turn him up. He wakes up in the park when he stays here, drinking late with Joe beside the picnic benches and apple blossom in Kelvingrove. Hell, when he played Sonar I think we filled rows two and three with Glasgow folks going nuts. So know this: when we asked Dorian Concept to come stay with us over New Years Eve, to play our sold out party at Stereo with Numbers, and provide a soundtrack to the year ahead in the form of this here mixtape, we didn’t take it lightly. This is an artist who has blown us away in 2009. Thank you Oliver. Buckfast on us. Here’s to the exxes.

Error Broadcast has done it again, even the artwork makes me happy on this one! Fly Russia brings some of the most raw, hard hitting beats of the year so far into one bite size download, tracks from the likes of DZA, Pixelord, Lapti and various new faces seriously make this one of my favorite releases of late. Can’t pick a favorite track as they are all that good, cop it, have a listen and I guarantee you’ll have this one on repeat!
