Didn’t have a chance to post this the other day when I first copped it, but after having a few days listening it seemed mad to skip it all together. In the past we have featured Mecca:83 for his awesome EP ‘The Life Sketches’ and this one did not disappoint either. As usual it’s full of delightful instrumental hip-hop beats and lots of vibes, plus if you’re generous enough to donate all of proceeds will be going to charity. A UK talent to watch, someone we need to be getting up on NTS in the future as well..

We had Yukka up on NTS a few weeks back and unfortunately the show didn’t record (out of our control, sorry :( ). Anyway the music is incredible, he’s a good friend and we will definitely be having him up again shortly to play some sounds. Was a MASSIVE fan of Falcons remixes so glad to see some new heat from them featuring a remix from the one like Bobby Tank.
After Indian Summer and Remixxes Vol. 1, the American-Canadian duo unveil their first single to be released on Juicy. Nigeria is a dark track, a solitary noctural trip through the buildings of a deserted town. Mingling uptempo juke rhythms, R&B, and a unique blend of glitchs, coupled with samples taken from the African culture, the whole still has a modern flavour, showing us, once again, the extent of the duo’s influences.
