Starkey is one of my favourite artists in dubstep and has been since before his first album dropped, he seems to always bring something different to his music while maintaining a bass heavy and dubstep sort of sound, Street Bass I believe he calls it. Anyway Fact Magazine just put out this free track from him, quite different from other stuff I’ve heard from him yet still has that distinct Starkey feel which you’ll no doubt have grown to love!

Exile’s new AM/FM is released at the end of this month so to get more hype around it he’s giving away this remix from Samiyam which is featured on the album. We featured his Radio Remixes which he gave away for free also a month or two back, if you enjoyed all this free music you should stump up the cash for the AM/FM release on the 31st of this month!

New FlyLo off the Pattern + Grid World EP coming soon on Warp. I swear I’ve heard this beat before with someone rapping on it, anyone got any idea? Anyway, it’s a banger of a track, been listening to it all day… but that was bound to happen it’s FlyLo! (via)

Eliot Lipp - Goldeneye

Eliot Lipp is probably one of my favourite artists and Goldeneye 64 is probably one of my favourite games over any console, so when I saw the two together on XLR8R just now I knew I was in for a treat. Eliot Lipp made a track using sounds from the N64 version of Goldeneye which would be at home on any dancefloor… insane!

You’ll Soon Know is one today and to celebrate this achievement we are announcing an EP that we have started to put together and will be giving to you lucky people for free. The EP will feature some of your favourite beat heads and some lesser known artists who’s music we love and feel you should too! We are giving you a taster with this track from My Dry Wet Mess which will be featured on the EP. Keep your eyes on the site over the next couple of months for it’s full release, there’ll be news when we have it finished and ready to go.

We just got given Dark Sky - Frames EP through the e-mail this morning and I’ve already listened to it through a few times, such amazing beats. The people at Pictures Music were kind enough to give us a track from the EP to give to you lucky people. The track is Night Light, which is probably my favourite track off the EP, it has a kinda future garage feel mixed with a whoomp bass and some clanging synth leads making it perfect for to skank out to. The guys over at Moovmnt put this free beat tape from B.Lewis out early last month. I’ve had it downloaded for a while but only just got round to listening to it the past fews days, I regret not getting it up sooner, such a bangin’ little beat tape. My personal favourite track is What it Do Donkey? mixing a lovely vocal soul sample with the electronic feel and Dilla-esk drums. Not really a weak track on here which is saying something when the the amount of beats on this tape. Well worth a listen then if you’re feeling it check more B.Lewis treats after the jump!

Young Montana - Sacre Cool

Young Montana may be the best thing to happen to Coventry since Lady Godiva or at least the only thing worth paying attention to! I know I’m maybe a little late on this one but it’s so good, I have been listening to it constantly for the past few weeks and managed to find it online for free today here. Such a good track, you’re gonna be hearing a lot more from this guy with releases set on Alpha Pup hopefully sooner than later!

Kuhn - Spacemusik

I don’t know much about Kuhn other than he’s from New York and he makes some dope music. I’m really feeling this EP all three tracks are bangers but my personal favourite is We’re Gonna Make It, the vocal sounds dope and works so well with the beat. Give it a listen you wont be disappointed! Also check Kuhn and Obey City’s Clipse remix

J Dilla - Donut Shop

The good people over at Stones Throw Records had numerous requests to make the mp3 version of the Dilla Tracks that are on the special edition Dilla x Serato Donut Shop collab available in their store.
