Unfortunately we still have no good news on Kutmah, but this treat surfaced today on the HVW8 Podcast which will definitely get your head bopping.

If you don’t already know Master Blazter is made up of Computer Jay, J-1 and Dam Funk, you may have already come across this youtube video of them performing at the HVW8 gallery last year (if not I suggest you check it out!). I was hoping to hear some new collabo pieces from the full group but the mix mainly contains plenty of fresh bit’s from the individuals involved - go grab it and enjoy some of the best music out there!

The recording took place on February 27, 2010 at the Echoplex and has a running time of 1 Hour, 9 Minutes. Oozing with awesome, grab it!

Today they just put up a free track from The Gaslamp Killer’s ‘My Troubled Mind EP’, which dropped on Brainfeeder last August. This is a BIG download! I was hanging with Drew in LA whilst this was being wrapped up and was lucky enough to hear it and see it come together, but now not only is the CD out and floating around in the USA for free, but Dancefever has put the whole thing up for download! Smog has had some serious releases in the last couple of years, my favorite so far being DLX - Matter of fact backed with the Breakage Remix, and there are a lot more big things in the works. Drew and the fam are about as dedicated to pushing dubstep in LA and worldwide as it get’s so support that shit!

Featuring tracks from 12th Planet, Doctor P, Distance, Kelly Dean, DLX, Kemst, Dj Evol, Datsik, Von D and more, this is a must have for you weighty dubstep lovers. Personal tracks I’m digging on this which are slightly more down my street are Distance’s remix of Dustmite and Kelly Dean & Steadys - Teflon. Happy skanking!

I was a big fan of The Glitch Mob’s previous music and live shows so it was cool to see this taster from their up coming album ‘Drink the Sea’ pop up on their website! It’s definitely sounding good, really good in fact, and they don’t seem to have slowed down at all even after Kraddy moved on from the group. Check this, you won’t be disappointed. The album is released May 25th.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone as we’re approaching this new year, I felt it was time to let go of some things that have been gathering dust. Some old things, and some new things, I tried to pick out tracks that I know yall haven’t heard yet so there should be surprises around every turn.
can’t believe i’ve been making tracks for over 10 years now..That said, there’s so much to learn still.
