Download: AstroLogical - Far Far Away
Just sorting through some of the e-mails on a Sunday evening and stumbled across this treat. A releatively new release from AstroLogical on Jellyfish Recordings that’s so good I’ve had it on repeat for the past hour or so.
AstroLogical is a multi-instrumentalist hiphop/trip-hop producer from Vancouver B.C. With a love and knowledge for late 60′s and 70′s psychedelic music, he crafts sonic delicacies with detailed drum programming, obscure samples and keyboard wizardry.
If you’re a fan of trip-hop it’s a must get, some perfect laid back, head-nod vibes. AstroLogical is definitely a name to keep your eyes on. You might also want to take a look through Jellyfish Recordings’ back catalouge as it appears to be full of other goodies!

Download: Ghostpoet - Liiines (Error Operator Remix) (.mp3)
Error Operator is a London based electronic artist & producer who seems to put out a constant stream of pretty dope remixes. This one of Ghostpoet’s Liiines has been my favourite so far, really enjoying the upbeat party vibes on this and you can’t go wrong with a good bit of steel drums thrown into the mix!

Download: Chris Brown - Your Body (prod. Hudson Mohawke) (.mp3)
Chris Brown doing his best Kanye impression over HudMo’s Rising 5 track. It’s actually pretty nice, I know it’s been floating about for a while but it officially dropped today on Chris Brown’s Boy in Detention Mixtape so thought I’d give it a quick post.

Remember a little while back when we posted Volume 1? We’ll we are now up to Volume 3 which was released today! It’s a great compilation featuring freebies from Mo Kolours, Paul White, Elzhi, Kid Kanevil, Nostalgia 77 and many more - some wicked laid back vibes I’ve been chilling to today in the sun. Read on to find a little more info then grab the download for free!

Download: B.Bravo - Swing My Way
Amazing! Not much more needs to be said except shouts to Frite Nite for this lovely B.Bravo freebie.

Download: Wiley Vs Geesus Host - 50% Publishing
Geesus Host is the electronic music moniker of UK Hip-Hop producer Ghost (if you don’t know the name check out the back catalogue for some top quality hip-hop). Here we have him remixing tracks from Wiley’s newest album ‘100% Publishing’.
I’ve been a fan of Wiley for a number of years so when i had the acapellas for his 100% Publishing album i picked my favourite 5 tracks and remixed them. I really wanted see what he’d sound like over a different set of soundscapes.
Geesus Host has a really refreshing take on the original tracks. I’m particularly feeling the 100% Publishing remix, the beat is dope and fits amazingly with the vocals, need to hear this one out.

Download: Pusha T - Trouble On My Mind (feat Tyler the Creator) (.mp3)
Pusha T and Tyler the Creator killing a Pharrell beat… need much more be said?
Streaming after the jump for those that need to listen first.
New link up for those that missed the soundcloud downloads.

Download: Paul White - Trust (Feat Guilty Simpson)
One of my favourite rappers (Guilty Simpson) meets one of my favourite producers (Paul White)… you know the results are going to be fantastic! The b-side is also fire and also comes for free with the download. Can’t wait to hear what’s in store for the full length ‘Rapping with Paul White’ set to drop on 21st of August on One Handed Music.

Download: How to Dress Well - Ready for the World (Star Slinger Refix)
Lo-fi crooner How to Dress Well gets a dance floor friendly makeover from Manchester based beat smith Star Slinger. He finished this remix to go into his DJ sets and was kind enough to give it away, we’re glad he did! I’m a big fan of the original and it’s nice to see it taken into this new direction, turning it into the head bopper that the vocals always had the potential to.
