Download: Naive Machine - Basket Bass Beats Tape 2
The Christmas presents keep on coming! This time Santa takes on the form of the Naive Machine guys with a sack full of dope beats. We’re big fans of Naive Machine and we fell that you should be too. If you’re already fans add this to your collection, if not check it out and have yourself a Bangin’ Christmas… I’m off for a massive dinner!

The homies over at Error Broadcast have got a lovely Christmas Present for you today. They have made B-Ju’s excellent Dog Day EP available for free download on their bandcamp until 16th January. If for some reason you don’t already own it I’d suggest you grab it while you can, it was definitely one of our top picks from 2010.

Download: YSK Radio with Satellite100 (Jon Phonics & Jeeks)
Big session on NTS last night with special guests Satellite100! Jon Phonics & Jeeks both brought through world exclusive first plays off their upcoming releases, as well as some Satellite100 specials.
It was a great way to sign out 2011 and features a bunch of unreleased cuts from the likes of S.Maharba, Co.Fee and more. Thanks to everyone who has joined us on the show, listened in or helped us along the way this year - here’s to an even better 2012!
Extra: Jon Phonics took some photos, take a look.

We posted about the Mad-Hop project at the start of this year and we’ve been really enjoying their output as the year has progressed. Today they released their lastest offering, Volume 3, full of that good music we love to hear.
Artists involved in the volume include YSK favourites Pixelord, B-Ju, Amassadeurs, Powell, Huess and many more. We’ll be sure to keep a close eye on Mad-Hop and look forward to what the future holds for them!

Download: Fortune Howl - Samurai Sword (BUSTED by heRobust)
heRobust just posted up this fresh remix of a track by Fortune Howl.
Some times on tour I like to remix a local act to help the music community in the area. Fortune Howl, Orlando native, is on Relief in Abstract Records. Check em out.
I’d not heard of Fortune Howl before this but just checked out his music and it’s pretty nice, so heRobust’s theory is definitely working well!

We’re big fans of B-Ju so when I saw Error Broadcast mention this on their facebook page I knew it’d be going straight up on the site. 16 of his “minor works” created between 2006 and 2010, so many good beats. Particular favourites on first listen are Soja Extra and Habit in your Redlight, but it’s all good. Take a listen yourself after the page break.

Download: Leonard Dstroy - Inner Exit
Leonard Dstroy hit us up a few days ago with news of another free EP of synth based wonky instrumentals from him. We’re big fans (so big we got him to do a guest mix for our podcast a while back) so we knew it would be a must post, had a busy few days so only just got round to it. You wont be disappointed with this - large up the Len!
Edit: Just seen bandcamp has run out of free downloads so alternative link here.

Download: Lazer Sword - Web Swag (SirOJ Remix) (.mp3)
Alright, I’m a little late on this one but thought it needed posting anyway. Stumbled across this dope SirOJ reworking of Lazer Sword’s Web Swag this morning while checking the Slumgullion site.
It was done as part of a beat session, hosted by 08Bar at Amsterdam Dance Event last year, during which a bunch of artists remixed a song by one the of the festivals performers.

Was literally just adding this onto my Serato laptop ready to play out tonight, whilst it was loading I was checking the email, as you do.. anyway to a great surprise I saw that XLR8R had featured this awesome track for free on their site in all its 320kpbs glory!
If you didn’t already know, Niño has been making dope beats for a long ass time and this latest tune is taken from his forthcoming EP on Donky Pitch titled ‘Clase de 1984’. The vinyl drops next Monday May 23rd and digitally a week later. I’ve been lucky enough to have it for a while and every track is pure fire and goes down well in the bedroom or the club. You should also check out this dope mix he did for Kmag, enjoy!

Wow Dynooo is killing it, check these dope freebies before he’s over in London for the Streets of Beige - Surf Kill Special! 16 bit pine miks is insane, 15 minutes of dreamy 8 bit sounds - you might as well be inside Super Mario, really fresh.
