Download: Eskmo - Brainfeeder Colorbrain Mix
Incredible sounds and mix from Eskmo! (via)
Our homie Eskmo hooked us up with an incredible mix of various productions, just before he drops a set at Brainfeeder Sessions at the Downtown Independent…

Download: Diploide - I Love Diploide
Thanks a lot to Abel Galleta for getting in touch to tell us about Diploide. We are big fans of Niño (who’s Deep Space Night we posted a little while back) so it seems fitting to mention this release. The music is quite different to a lot of stuff I have heard before, especially the Spanish vocals, but without doubt the beats are so dope even if I have no idea what the lyrics are!
Diploide is a spanish hip hop wonky bass band formed by Niño/producer & Garbanzo/mc-singer. Soon we’ll release a new ep for free download with new tracks, and a 7” single (limited and numered edition) of Niño with 3 new tracks. Peace out!
Abel Galleta

Download: Pixelord Lucid Freaks pt. 2 - The Remixes
Hot on the heels of Pixelord’s “Lucid Freaks pt. 1” comes this eleven-track remix compilation. “Lucid Freaks pt. 2 - The Remixes” features a couple of Russia’s hottest producers, including RBMA -participant DZA, Demokracy, OL and Miracle Libido (the latter two as known from their Monday Jazz tape). The Lord himself reworked a tune exclusively for this record.
From the US, we got AshTreJinkins and Chocolate Girl with their bass-heavy interpretations of Steppa styles. Netherland knob twiddlers Jameszoo and Coco Bryce re-crunk the Pixelord funk, and finally Austria-based producer Abby Lee Tee is dropping in for a mix. One hell of a line-up, you bet. Art comes from Michael Dotson, once again.
So I just got through listening to this and totally enjoying it when I realized I have not yet posted it up! Killer new ish from Pixelord and the Error Broadcast fam once again. Some futuristic sounds and wonky beats make up a really great listen from many artists I had previously not heard of. Don’t sleep, cop it now and if you dig grab the lossless deal from bandcamp. While I’ve been writing this I’ve just put it back on repeat - there we go..

Download: Slugabed - Here You Are
Slugabed is probably my favourite musician in the whole whomp, wonky, glitch, whatever it is being called these days, movement and I’ve been following him since the first track I heard a few years back. So I was pretty happy to see him tweet about a free track last night. 20ShotSequence posted up the free track along with a list of Top 5’s from Slugabed. Grab the free track and pick up the EP it’s featured on if you fancy too!

Download: heRobust - Grief Case
heRobust is a 23 year old beat maker from Atlanta Georgia. I’d never heard the name until earlier today and since finding this amongst our messages I’ve streamed his Albumin a fair few times! It is set to drop on new record label Saturate along with remixes by YSK faviourites Pixelord, Dza, eLan and Leonard Dstroy. heRobust also has a couple more projects in the works which you should keep your eyes peeled for!
Im also collaborating with Leonard Dstroy right now on an album that will turn heads, like 360 degree Beetlejuice shit… and I dont joke about Beetlejuice.
Also check out his remix of K.P & Envyi’s Shorty Swing My Way for an extra taste of what is to come from this guy!

Download: Fulgeance - Glamoure (.mp3)
I’ve been a massive fan of Fulgeance since I first heard Bien Rond off his Chico EP, I was instantly drawn in by his sound and have gotten everything he’s put out since. He just dropped his new EP entitled Glamoure, which this free track is taken from, on Musique Large. If you’re a fan of the wonky electro swing sound you should definitely drop the cash on the EP and after that go grab his other EP’s too if you don’t already have them. (via)

Download: P.U.D.G.E - W£¡RD D¡SHE§
Thanks to my lazy (or possibly broken computered?) co-blogger Richard, things are backing up here at YSK, this is the first of three dope downloads waiting to go up before the end of the week. So much good music dropped this week so we will try not to lag too much in getting them to you. Anyway you should already know about P.U.D.G.E, the LA hombre has had releases on All City and lots of exciting beats, including his last release alongside Dibiase.
Weird Dishes, if you didn’t guess, is a tribute to Radiohead. It’s dope, checkit.

Download: Various Artists - Saturated!
Another compilation from another relatively new label, this time Saturate Records. Saturate is a German based label specialising in glitchy, wonky bass music who’s previous releases we’ve featured before (such as heRobust - Albumin). Most of the artists involved in this compilation I’d not heard of before but then here are also track from firm favourites such as Pixelord and Krampfhaft. Definitely a few names to keep an eye out for! The release is name your price so as always if you’re feeling it send the label some of your hard earned to show your appreciation.

Wow Dynooo is killing it, check these dope freebies before he’s over in London for the Streets of Beige - Surf Kill Special! 16 bit pine miks is insane, 15 minutes of dreamy 8 bit sounds - you might as well be inside Super Mario, really fresh.

Was literally just adding this onto my Serato laptop ready to play out tonight, whilst it was loading I was checking the email, as you do.. anyway to a great surprise I saw that XLR8R had featured this awesome track for free on their site in all its 320kpbs glory!
If you didn’t already know, Niño has been making dope beats for a long ass time and this latest tune is taken from his forthcoming EP on Donky Pitch titled ‘Clase de 1984’. The vinyl drops next Monday May 23rd and digitally a week later. I’ve been lucky enough to have it for a while and every track is pure fire and goes down well in the bedroom or the club. You should also check out this dope mix he did for Kmag, enjoy!
