Download Infinitskills - Polarized
This weeks You Should Know comes from EricP & Luigi of Infinitskills who run Laid-Back (check for more treats). It came out at the start of this year and hasn’t left my play rotation since. Some really nice soulful beats for ya!

Download Obsidian Blue - Livid Paradox
This weeks You Should Know comes from Obsidian Blue, one of the internets finest beatmakers. Livid Paradox is one of many free albums he has released on his site and is made up of soulful instrumental beats. Affairs of the Heart and 8 bit Weaponry are two of my personal favorites - enjoy!

Download Powell - Beatnicks Tape Vol.2
This week’s You Should Know comes courtesy of Up My Alley and their Beatnicks Tape series. Powell takes up this volume which was released towards the start of the year and has been in constant rotation in my itunes ever since. While you’re at it you should also get Hubert Daviz - Beatnicks Tape Vol.1 which is also really nice and maybe check out the Up My Alley artist page which has various free treats from all of their artists.

Download Lunice - Out of Touch
This weeks You Should Know is Hall and Oates getting the Lunice treatment in out of touch. Posting up the Lunice Remix Volume Two earlier reminded me of this and how good it was so I figured it deserved another outing!

For our second You Should Know (and my first), I decided to throw in some seriously sick Swedish synth funk / beats for your ears!
Beem is an electronic Music Producer from Stockholm, Sweden. I was actually first drawn to this album after hearing the track ‘Ducker’ (which is my personal favorite) in a mix by Hudson Mohawke. I then hunted it down not only to find it was free but it’s track & album artworks were dope as hell! The album has some mellow downtempo melodic tunes but works it’s way up to some heavier funk and beats. It will definitely be something you’re glad you checked out. Download Dorian Concept - Nouns and the Relevance of Wood
So we’ve decided to start a new weekly feature here at You’ll Soon Know entitled You Should Know where we will post up some older stuff that you may have missed out on the first time round! The first Installment is Dorian Concept’s Nouns and the Relevance of Wood from the project168 series in which producers were required to make an EP in a week. This EP is a few years old now but is worth the download, if you’ve missed out previously, for the first track alone ‘A Huge Hello You Look Good Thank You’ which is all improvised on his micro korg except the drums which are sequenced… it’s so good, wait for after the drop! Also if you get chance go see Dorian Concept live, I saw him at Brainfeeder earlier this year and he is one of the best live acts I’ve ever seen!
