Following on from the Massive Attack remix we posted a couple weeks back, It seems Breakage is fast becoming the majors’ go-to guy for a dubstep remix.

Although originally released back in December 2008 on Moshi Moshi, her Brits success has led to a re-release of Florence And The Machine’s ‘Dog Days Are Over’ and so Breakage has cranked out another filthy, pounding techno-inspired dubstep roller of pretty epic proportions for the digital package.

I guess when the original is produced by James Ford it’s going to hard to mess up, but this remix is baad and it’s yours to download for free over at RCRD LBL…

I came across this track via Digital Soundboy boss Shy FX ’s twitter. Massive Attack are about to release their fifth album entitled ‘Heligoland’ and here Breakage cranks out a dark, Detroit-y, dubstep/techno refix of the single.

Production on point as you’d expect from a producer who’s been consistently released high-grade d&b/dubstep/bass since the turn of the last decade/century/millennium… Anyone remember ‘So Vain’ which he made when he was still a pesky teenage, or ‘Losing Track’ off his debut album? Dude’s got skills.

Look out for his forthcoming sophomore album ‘Foundation’ due sometime this month on Digital Soundboy.

It’s 6.37am and I just got in from Hospitality in Brighton, I had to pop on quick to post this up for you all before hitting the sack though! If you have been to a dubstep night lately chances are you you will have heard this Breakage remix of Sidney Samson - Riverside, or one of the various other remixes. This is one of the most catchy tunes around and has had the Soundboy rework to it.. Cop it and enjoy, it’s one of the heaviest and FREE! (via)

Fact magazine has been putting out mixes weekly from the best artists for a while now. I literally download all of them, but we can’t possibly post them all up on the site.. this week though I thought I would drop a reminder to you guys to keep an eye out and posted this smasher from the man they call Breakage. His name is popping up all over the shops lately with a string of releases but he has been around making waves and original sounds for years and years.
