Download: Prison Garde - Systeme Hermes Volume One (.zip)
Prison Garde is the latest incarnation of Vaughn Robert Squire AKA Megasoid, AKA Sixtoo, etc and he’s got some treats in store for you all.
So after a good year of writing tunes under the Prison Garde moniker I have come up with a collection of ideas from Live P.A. sets that I think folks might be into. These are various tempo joints ranging from 70-150 bpm, all tied together by the presence of Drum Machines and Synths.
On first listen my favourite tracks are the almost HudMo sounding Newlove Oldgirl and the refreaked electro boogie feel of Zero. There is not a bad track across the board and with various tempos and styles everyone sure to find something they can enjoy in this set of downloads!

Download: Burial - Shell of Light (Shlohmo Remix) (.mp3)
Shlohmo remixing Burial, you know this shit’s gonna be dope. I am drunk and being told off by my girlfriend for making too much noise and I’m still finding the time to post this, so you all better listen!

Download: Dolor - A Chapel for Velvet (.zip)
This EP from Dolor came thought the e-mails yesterday and from first listen I was hooked. Really enjoyed the airy melodies and deep basslines. We asked Dolor to tell us a bit about himself and this is what he had to say
I’m from the Midwest, by way of the Delta, with a freakish obsession for heavy bass, melodic ethos, and all that is macabre. A Chapel for Velvet feels as though it is only the beginning to my extraction of the feelings which manifested themselves into this collective; Only a shard of my tale to tell…more or less.
As a bonus beat check out this amazing The Weeknd Remix by him, video after the jump.

Download: James Blake - The Wilhelm Scream (R/D Remix) (.mp3)
The homie R/D just put out this remix of James Blake’s The Wilhelm Scream. Not 100% sure how I feel about this track being remixed, it being my favourite off the album. Luckily R/D takes it in a completely different direction, using the vocal as a backbone to which his glitchy, bass heavy goodness clings to.

Zomby’s new album is released on the 11th of July on 4AD and judging by the tracks I’ve heard so far it’s gonna be a must purchase! This download is taken from the second single from the album, a 7” featuring this track and Basquiat on the flip, also taken from the album.

Download: DA-10 - Head Down, Hood Up (Fybe:one Remix)
In preparation for the July launch of the DA-10 - The Future Is Futureless EP, WotNot Music have put together a promotional mini-site offering up a Fybe:one remix of EP track ‘Head Down, Hood Up’ for free download, Visto’s mind-bending experiment with visual-feedback for ‘The Future Is Futureless’ video and more.

Download: Adoptahighway - Chances, Circumstances, Conditions EP
Adoptahighway is a classically trained electronic music producer, currently based in Milwaukee, WI. After I had heard a few of his tunes over the years this was the first EP time I actually sat down and checked out his music fully.
The sounds he brings on this release tend to be pretty dark for the most part, bassy and beat ridden - as well as touching a variety of tempos. In fact, if you’re a fan of Lorn, there is a high chance you will be digging these vibes. It is also fitting then, that AAH is half of Omega Clash which is the duo of himself and Lorn who put out their first EP a couple of years ago.
I’m a big fan of this so I suggest you check it out - it’s a pay what you like so try to be generous if you enjoy it!

The guys over at Saturate Records just put out this EP from, friend of the site, Acre. Some nice little gems on this EP. I’m particularly feeling IHEWA Pt.2, a slow moving glitch fest akin to the likes of Zomby’s early releases, and I Saw The Crescent (which we first posted just over a year ago, nice to see it getting a proper release!)
The release is name your price so throw some money his way if your feeling it and then go check out his previous output, including the opening track on our EP.
