Download: 1000 Names - Kmag Mix
I’ve been a big fan of the Bulgarian duo 1000 Names for a while, so when I saw this interview & mix on K-mag today I had to check it out. It features tunes from some of our favored artists such as fLako, DZA, Nino, Machine Drum as well as many more, and rolls in at almost an hour long. Some nice beats and interesting electronic vibes and mixing as you would expect from these guys, enjoy and be sure to check out their releases.
“When it comes to discussion of the current beat scene there are certain creative hubs that you can expect to come up, be it LA, Glasgow or London. Bulgaria is most likely not the first place that would come to mind. However, we would do well to remember that it is individuals that create great music, not scenes.”

Download: Dj Madd - Fabric Mix
Going in with some dubstep weight for today, I’ve decided! Dj Madd is one of my favorite producers right now, he’s making some hard hard bangers but also some seriously nice deepness. I just can’t get enough of ‘Battle’ since first hearing Youngsta pounding it on Rinse. Anyway keep an eye out for him playing at Fabric soon, well worth a listen, enjoy.

Download: Fatima x Funkineven - A Cut Above Mix
I can’t remember the last time I posted a full mix up on YSK. I guess there are a lot of average mixes floating around the net to be fair, but once in a while a straight banger comes up like this one! Been a huge fan of Fatima and Funkineven since day dot and we have posted up mp3s from them before. Anyway, today I spotted this Mix by Lefto showcasing their music and celebrating A Cut Aboves 2nd anniversary. Contains some of the best music out there, you’re sure to enjoy this one!

Download: Plastician - Sound That Speaks Volumes 2010 Mix
(Alt: You can also download as split tracks here.)
Plastician is known for dropping his yearly mixes and they have become very popular for dubstep fans. If you didn’t know he has a show on Rinse on a Monday night and just dropped the links to this years mix while on his show. Should be a biggie, check it! (I’m all about the Om Unit in this one!)

Download: Master Blazter - Blazt Off (Mix by Kutmah)
Unfortunately we still have no good news on Kutmah, but this treat surfaced today on the HVW8 Podcast which will definitely get your head bopping.
If you don’t already know Master Blazter is made up of Computer Jay, J-1 and Dam Funk, you may have already come across this youtube video of them performing at the HVW8 gallery last year (if not I suggest you check it out!). I was hoping to hear some new collabo pieces from the full group but the mix mainly contains plenty of fresh bit’s from the individuals involved - go grab it and enjoy some of the best music out there!

So we’re on a bit of a dubstep flex today after that Loefah tune rolled out earlier. This next bit is from one of my favorite producers who goes by the name of Pinch, the main man behind Tectonic recordings. Tectonic have put out the likes of Flying Lotus, 2562, Kryptic Minds, Pinch, Joker and of course many more. This mix showcases some of the best in dubstep right now starting with ‘The Boxer’ which is so damn good it just makes me want to box people in! A must listen, if you dig get yourself down to Fabric in a couple of weeks.

Download: Kutmah - Live at The El Rey
I’ve had the pleasure of listening to and seeing Kutmah play out many times, but unfortunately he has a bad situation going on right now. As a key player and member of the scene I urge you all to help him in his right to stay in the USA at freekutmah.com. Please read on for more details and check out this dope mix!

Download: Deadboy - HYP!HYP!HYP! Mix
With all the crazy election bollocks that’s going on in the UK right now, the best thing we can advise you to do is check out this fresh mix Deadboy just did for Plan-B! It features some funky dubsteppy garage vibes and is a nice journey through a variety of sounds, enjoy.

Download: Four Tet - Live in Los Angeles
I always go on about how good BTS Radio is, but it cannot be emphasized enough. This week Andrew and co have dropped this killer live mix from the one and only Four Tet. The recording took place on February 27, 2010 at the Echoplex and has a running time of 1 Hour, 9 Minutes. Oozing with awesome, grab it!

Download: Rustie FWD vs Rinse FM Mix (.mp3)
Ahead of the FWD/Rinse party at Matter in London on Friday, Lucky Me’s Rustie has dropped a tasty half hour mix, dipping into all sorts of goodness from the mellow vibes of Fourtet through to some Ramadanman deepness, via Hudmo’s wonky R&B and Brackles’ driving dubstep. He’s basically dropping some of the best music coming out of today’s underground. Big.
