This has been knocking around for a minute online, but it’s straight-up quality so it needs to be repped regardless! Released as part of a remix package on Hotfush, Planet Mu’s Falty DL, has taken on Mount Kimbie’s ‘Serged’ and twisted it into a deep, fuzzy, vacuous (in a good way), 2-step roller.
Loads of lush, automated reverb surges from the depths, as drums and pitched down vocals take it in turn to echo through the caverns of the track. It’s dope!
Make sure to keep an eye out for the Mount Kimbie album dropping later this summer, and of course watch out for New York-native Falty DL, who will hopefully be coming over to Europe in May.

I’ve been gagging to post something about Kuedo ever since I got sent the forthcoming Planet Mu EP, but I haven’t really had any excuse to… until now! Keudo is a beatsy/wonky project from Jamie Vex’d, formally one half of dubstep pioneers Vex’d.
Now working solo and living in Berlin, Jamie has made one of the most beautiful, well-arranged EPs I’ve heard in a long time. It’s just bursting with musical ideas and production values most producers can only dream of achieving. I got a similar buzz listening to the Starfox EP as I did from the first Flylo tracks I heard a couple years back. This is the realness! Make sure you support!
So, to celebrate the forthcoming EP and his appearance at the RBMA event at T Bar this Thursday, he’s dropped a mix for Resident Advisor, which is also super dope. Check out the interview here and download the mix here. Your life will truly be better off.

Pitchfork just posted up this track off FaltyDL’s new Bravery EP due for release on Planet Mu sometime soon. I really enjoyed his album ‘Love is a Liability’ released earlier this year and if this track off the new EP is anything to go by his new release should be equally enjoyable!
