It is without doubt one of the most (If not the most) forward thinking and musically groundbreaking club in the world today, so it’s only fitting we let you know about this mix! I really like dubstep, but I also really hate it at the same time. It’s expanding so quickly that a lot of it is becoming saturated and stale.. I guess this is always a problem with any ‘in’ genre. But that’s not to say there aren’t some incredible sounds appearing each week which are pushing boundaries in the way that Hot Flush are showcasing. I think I could safely say that Jus Wan’s - Action Potential is in my top 3 dubstep tracks ever and if you are also into that track you will love this latest mix. Coming on a deep techy vibe this mix is without doubt going to get you grooving. All the previous Hot Flush mixes are seriously fresh as well, so don’t miss another by subscribing on their site. Our first podcast! We will be bringing you exclusive mixes from some dope artists and Djs.. for a Christmas present we bring to you episode 1 mixed by Bitesize Beats!

Bitesize Beats is a veteran mixmaker, starting out doing guest mixes for Ninja Tune’s legendary Solid Steel show in 2003, and has been played on XFM, BTTB and Electronic Explorations, among others. Styles have changed over the years from the early cut + paste hip-hop/breakbeat stuff to the more recent psychedelic beat journeys, also taking in electronics, dubstep, ambient, soul, downtempo etc (often in the space of a single mix). Mixes are constructed in Ableton, all tunes being cut up, rearranged, re-edited and layered to within an inch of their lives…
This mix is his pick of the year, the best of 2009’s beats, electronics, and space-age hip-hop - enjoy.
